Bad Idle Problems, Help Please!

Help Anyone

My last post I asked for a header tune because I thought that would solve the problem. Mike worked his magic and I had my tune, so I installed the tune but my Idle is still bad.

Here is the problem. When the car is cold and I start the motor the Idle is fine, if I give it some rev's and release the pedal the Idle goes down to about 500 rpm's and then settles at around 850. But when the temp gets up to about 170, after the rev's the rpm's go down to about 300 and some times stalls. other than this problem, she runs like a rapped ape.

I guess my first question is, because I had this problem before I installed the header tune, should I preform an Idle relearn?

I should mention that before I installed the predator tune for the first time, my Idle was fine with all the mods. I had the headers installed professionally so they must have done some tunning.

My Thanks to Mike L for the tune
Regards,
Chris

Mods: 2001 z06 with LG LT headers, X-pipe w/HF cats, corsa exhaust, bbk 80mm TB dual K&N.

Not likely that tuning was done when you installed the headers.
Try restoring the stock tune (this will erase the custom tune from the tool) then see how the idle is, this will eliminate a tune related issue.

Thanks

I think I solved the problem.

At first I thought that I was running rich but after doing some real time viewing of the ltft I noticed that I had high postitive numbers ( running lean), so I started to decrease the injector slope(which, if I'm correct, adds more fuel to the mix) . I'm at -5% and the Idle seems to be good.
