Hi Guys,
I'm really new to this so please be patient.
The Story,
My brother and I have twin truck. He gave me a Black Delta Revolution chip (F7072) that is so far unused (I think).
I want to try it out. What do I need to do?
1. Can I install the chip......and if it doesn't work, just take it out. Will anything change with my stock settings if I remove the chip.
If I need to get in reflashed I will, but it was originally setup for our trucks.
I don't know if this matters, but the only difference with our trucks is his is an extended cab long box and mine is a crew cab shortbox.

Should I just install it and see what happens?
And what about installation.....is it hard? I'd like to do it myself if possible.

Thanks

Yup, install it, if it runs, you're golden, if not, remove it and have it reflashed for your truck.

Be sure there are NO keys in the ignition during install/removal of the chip.

Thanks

You must have a different PCM calibration than your buddy, so you'll need to have the chip reflashed to work in your truck.

Thanks
