I have an 02 Chevy hd2500, 6.0 with 4l80e. Predator u7198, 2.13. Which parameter do you adjust to get quicker downshifts. Thanks for helping. Gregg

If you adjust "RPM vs. TP" if will effect how long each gear is held (not sure if it is available on your predator). That would be the best parameter to modify as it has the greatest impact on down shifting. You could also try "Downshift MPH" and simply increase the speed at which your truck will downshift.

You have the same Predator and revision as me, so you should have "RPM vs. TP".

jc, thanks for the reply, my predator only has downshift mph. Can't find tp vs. rpm. Just want to get rid of the dead throtle response. When you come to a hill and press down, you go almost to floor before it downshifts. Thanks for the help.

1. Try going all the way to the bottom of the list or parameters, u should see injector slope and Torque Management and stuff like that. I think its the last item.
I have mine at
1>2 = +5
2>3 = +10
3>4 = +20
2. If that doesn't work or you can't find it then try changing Downshift MPH higher on all gears.
