Error occured while restoring original Backup, truck won't s

Post by Bgagne14 »

I run the 87 Octane tune and my truck was shifting weird so I went to restore factory data to my truck to see if it would help the issues. After writing file it said "An error occurred while restoring Original Backup". Trinity 2 prompted me to reboot device so I did. After rebooting it said "Your vehicle had an error during the last tuning attempt, Press YES to restore your original factory data or NO to return to the Main Menu"
I tried to install factory data again and it did the same thing over. I tried to go to the Tuning page on the programmer and install a different tune but it wont even let me get to that page. After all that I realized my truck wont start at all. I push the start button and it doesn't do anything. I then brought the programmer inside, hooked it up to my computer and updated it and it still does the same thing. This has me very concerned. I hope I didn't wreck anything and this is all fixable somehow.
A quick response would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue with 2014 ram an i3 tuner. This is crazy people have to miss work for these type of consistent issues. I drive a truck an cant be home during business hours. It's crazy not to have 24hrs tec support.
