My Preditor will not work??

Hey guys, I think I might have been took by somone on ebay.
I bought a preditor and it seems to be VIN locked,
when I go into options on the programmer it says last tune intalled is modified stock tune. Is there nothing I can do with this programmer to unlock it or did I just waste my $$$... Any help would be much appreciated.. Thanks......Jim

Unfortunately, the only way to unlock this is to get it back to the truck it is married to and have the backup properly restored.

It appears that the person who you bought the predator from didnt put the correct tune back in their vehicle. modified stock tune is a stock hp tune that you can modify speed limiter on (still a diablo tune). For tools that have been restored properly will show the last tune written as "Original Backup". Which means the predator was properly reset. Is there a way for the person who you bought it from to restore the original backup to their vehicle?

well I am in tennessee and the person I got it from on ebay is in south florida, I have sent them a message on ebay and now am not getting a reply. I don't know if they still even have the truck it is married to or not. I will file a claim with paypal and hope for the best.....thanks
