08 6.4L Tuner on 3 week old truck

I just bought a u7164 for my 08 f-250 which is about 3 weeks old & the tuner does not recognize the pcm part#'s. The Part#'s are 1. 8C3A-14C204-PC & 2. 8C3A-14C337-CA. Have you had this issue before? I purchased a Bully Dog programmer initailly first day I bought the truck but it did not work as well. Called Bully Dog & sent them pcm part#'s & was promised programming within the next 1-2 weeks, nothing available yet. I returned the tuner & bought yours & tried it (I like the extreme tune 160HP YEH BABY) but it would not load as well & same issue as the Bully Dog. Anybody have any answers? The truck sees many highway miles so any improvement in fuel mileage would be a great help.

Seeing as it is a brand new truck, and Ford releases updates all the time, it is just a matter that your particular computer calibration is not supported. Call tech support and they will walk you through some steps on how to see what your computer calibrations is and add support for it on the next update.

Yes, I know Cole is planning to update this tool to support the new calibration families that were recently released, I'll try to find out how long it may be...

We will be releasing a update for these calibrations very shortly. We are finishing up testing the update. This is the latest calibration from ford which we will support shortly. The update should not take long for your tool since we are just adding in support for that family of calibrations.
