Updating my Predator

I received an update notice today for my U7194 (2006 Corvette Z06). I clicked on the update and it wanted to download to my computer, but my computer doesn't recognize the file and couldn't open it.

Questions:

#1. What do I need to download this file?

#2. If and when I can/do the download, how do I make the actual upgrade to my Predator? Are these upgrades something my computer has to do by connecting to the Predator or do I program the info into the Predator manually?

As you can see I'm really green with this new product.

you can't open it - just download it/save it to your computer somewhere.

You need to have the ac power adapter and serial cable in order to connect the Predator to your computer to update it.
