Error code P0174 bank 2 too lean

I programed my 07 SS trailblazer with the 93 Octange diablosport intune! I am receiving a engine P0174 bank 2 too lean codes, seems it started after I replaced my K&N CAI filter with a aftermarket air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor. Also noticed that my exhaust tips are bulding up with a black carbon buildup, which I beleive is caused from the imbalance of the air to fuel ratio? Should I advance the spark and WOT to try to correct this issue?

No, this is not a spark issue, its a fueling issue, but it was certainly caused by something related to the new aftermarket filter you added and/or cleaning the MAF.
Check the area for leaks, etc.

You are correct the after market air filter had no effect on the lean code, it is a fuel issue not ignition.
