Reset INTUNE after PCM replaced

Post by PA-CHECKMATE »

I had the ECM replaced due to a failure and couldn't return vehicle to OEM software. I called tech support on Friday and had INTUNE reset. I also had made changes to the TCM that I only adjusted shift firmness. The tuner boots up OK and downloads the ECM software which was a different level than the OEM when vehicle was new, but now I can't go into the TCM to make any changes because of getting a message it was tuned already. I have a file in the tuner named TCM_2437702_BackupDiabloTune.grp and ECM_12606497_Backup.grp So how do I get it working again?

save this to the root of the intune drive and let the device import it then load the u[date to the vehicle then you'll be able to tune the pcm and tcm.

Thanks

Went through various warnings such as:
updating, vehicle not supported, etc. and final disc needs checked which could take 30 minutes. Left on all night and wouldn't complete?

disc check is not good, that tool is upset about something unfortunately, and should probably consider trading it in toward a new device.

What are trade in options and interested in one that can tune my 2 vehicles which are 2006 TBSS and 2016 Yukon 6.2 XL. And can the TCM issue then be corrected? Message options

Needles to say I'm not happy! Other than my inital issue the tuner all features worked well until I installed the file U provided.

Is not the file. This is a memory issue with these older devices unfortunately.

The trade in depends on what you upgrade to, but for example we take about $100 off a new i3 if you trade it in for that device.

That's not the answer I was wanted to read. Your attempt made my tuner useless trying to solve the original issue. And now the only fix is to purchase a new tuner? what about getting my TCM back to OEM tune, or at least to where I can reset my shift firmness?

A new device can be used to get the vehicle back to stock, or any dealer flash, etc.
