predator wont communicate with pc

i have the U7193 and bought the U7778 adapter. when i try to download my tune to the pc it saysm modem timeout. i downloaded the right pc interface and also the DSlogRedux software so i can tune my truck better. please help me before i go mad!! thanks

did you download the correct PredatorInterface app for your year truck??

also, there are instructions there for download as well, at the bottom of the page - which will walk you through the whole process.

sorry... but you can't save any logs with a 7193. so you can't use the Dataviewer or DSLogRedux.

the 7193 does not save the real time data logs - you can only view the data live on the screen while you're driving.


that being said, you can still watch your long term fuel trim bank 1 and bank 2 while you're doing normal steady driving/cruising on the highway... get your average LTFT values and make your adjustments.
