Trouble Starting

I am also having the same problem with my programmer. I bought mine like 3 months ago and I got it to install into economy setting, but I would try to go into any other setting and my truck would start but as soon as I tried to put it in gear it sut right off. Personally I wonder if the economy setting is really installed?? I even went to radi shack bought the cables installed the new file and it still did the same thing. You would think that a company wouldn't sell a consumer something that they know there having problems with. But then again we live in America where everyone is always trying to screw someone over.

ProBike262,I had the same problem with a f-550 about a year ago.I called cole at diablo tech and he helped me correct the problem.You will need to have the tool plugged into the truck when you call.The truck I was working on had a factory installed pto system and the that was screwing up the transmission program.It did the same thing as your truck is doing.
