04 Mustang GT troble codes

Post by pge27 »

Just got my tuner and loaded the tune. Drove the car one day and now I have codes P2270 and P2272. Too lean conditions. I was under the impression that the tune would shut off to rear o2 sensors. Any ideas?? Are the sensors bad. Running slp longtubes with offroad xpipe.

Lean is different than O2s being off.
This code sounds like the O2s are stuck in the lean position, maybe there is a ground issue?
Did you recently have exhaust work done on the car?

I pulled the codes today. No exhaust work has been done recently. Codes are:
P0138 o2 circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 2.
P2270 o2 sensor signal stuck lean bank 1 sensor 2.
P2272 o2 sensor stuck lean bank 2 sensor 2.
I'm not sure as to what I can do to correct this issue. Thanks

Looks like you have some bad O2 sensors, not sure what caused it though.

Just to be clear, the canned tune would take care of rear o2sensors with an offroad midpipe. Is that correct?
