since upgrage cant upload original tune to pred

im not sure what info would be pertinent but i found all this stuff

ever since i upgraded my pred i cant flash a tune to the eec it trys to save a backup of the original tune and says its already been tuned and cant so i try to load my original tune from the the computer and it says it cant read the format PLEASE HELP what should i do

no i didnt know i had to so what can i do to fix it

That sucks I believe you have to go to the dealer and reflash the ecm. After that if you show the paper work for that Diablo might be able to unlock your Predator I am guessing here.

how do i go about that im not postive what revision i was on before i didnt look i am guessing 7r50d but i got no idea anyway how would i go back i dont have the crom file would you need to send it to me or is there somewhere to download them i havent found thanks for your help because its frusterating to spend 350 dollers on something for it to be useless

okay i tried this and as soon as it tried to start downloading the crom it gives an error message "you are trying to install an outdated crom file vist diablosport.com for the latest revision"


so now what do i do?

Never mind, I just remembered, it wont let you install older version.

so now what do i do?

Set the DSDownloader to the legacy connection and set it to the same com port it is on now, then do the update and it will work.

Close DSDL and reopen in Legacy Mode, then try again.
If you just switched to Legacy without closing, it maintains the auto detect function.

i did that same message tried it with compressed send on and off freedom send on and off com protocal normal and class 2 auto detect on and off legacy connect on and off restarting the dsdownloader each time


i still get the same "you are attempting to install an outdated...." is there anything else i can try? thank you
