Original PCM backup

Post by SnakePL »

Hello, I used intune to write the 87 octane tune on my car. Attached is a screenshot of the files and backups that it created.
While I didn't get any errors during the write, is it normal for the PCM backup file to say "unknown"?

The truck is a 2015 Sierra 1500.

that was a read from before your vehicle was supported, you can delete it.

Makes sense, I bought this from a friend so it might be left over from whatever he was trying to use it on.
One more question, if a car is supported it will never create the PCM unknown file in the first place? It creates the ECM and TCM files instead?
Thanks
