Need to update Calibration ID and Firmware on Trinity T1000

Hello Mikel,

I have TrinityT1000 tuner and I tried to plug in to the OBDII port on my challenger car. It asked me to update the Calibration ID. I connected the device to the computer and opened the DSDL tool , it got a Calibration Update button. When I clicked on it, it started updating the tool, however it throws an error asking for updating the firmware.

When I disconnected the tool and connected back again to update the Calibration ID , I could not find the Calibration Update tab ever again.

Can you kindly send me the firmware update and Calibration Update instructions. If you have a file to share, that would be great too.

Hello Mikel,

I did the Calibration ID. But there is a new problem now. Before I used to see the Perf TCM Trans tune but now I can only tune perf 93 Oct PCM tune with no option to select the TCM tune during Install. In this way I am also not able to get the Trans stock tune as back up.

I dialed in and I was able to get help and reset the force CALIBID with password provided by Technical Expert. But when I connect to my PC, it does say , Is your firmware up to date. I do not know where can I get the latest firmware for my 2017 Dodge challenger SRT392. Currrently, I have dcx_gas_15 v.1r23e

Please guide me.

please connect to dsdl and load this file
save it to your desktop then connect dsdl and click 'update tool' then select this file, and let it load to the trinity.
Then you'll need to call to have the force cal update done again and it should work from there.

I updated the CRM file successfully and it now shows the file name on my Trinity T1000 information, However I tried to update the Calib ID after that and it says this as picture attached in the post. Pleae let me know the next step.

Do I need to connect the Trinity T1000 to the car while loading the Calibration ID along with the computer as well?


Also do I need to reset the calibration calling you again, even though it shows the Calibration Update on my DSDL downloader?

go to the car, and try to tune it.
if it says to check for an update, go back to the pc, open dsdl (fresh copy) and let it connect and click the calibration updater button when its done.

I went to the car updating the CROM file to your latest file you had sent me and not uploading the CALIB Update and still it had only PCM in the Tuner. It did not give me any option of TCM when I selected the Perf 93 PCM tune for the car. I reset the trinity tool to factory reset, as if it is new, calling your number, But after the reset I still see the CROM file installed v.1r23f which you had sent me yesterday and still it did not show the TCM.

Now I have done the transmission calibration reset again, I will connect to the computer at night to see if it does allow to update the CALIBRATION Update.
