2016 C7 - Turn Off Torque Management?

Post by challenger01 »

Is there an option for me as a end user to turn off "torque management" on my 2016 C7 with my Intune?

I can't seem to find it if there is.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There is no end-user Engine torque management setting that you can adjust.. it's already done in the preset canned tune...

If you have a manual tranny, well, then there is no torque management, so nothing to do for the tranny...

if you have an automatic tranny, then yes, there should be a setting for the TCM/tranny torque management that you can enable or disable...

Make sure your inTune is fully updated to all of the latest updates..

Then you'd go to Tune Vehicle - Advanced Mode...

select the ECM/engine tune you want to install..

then select the TCM/tranny tune you want to install..

when it asks you if you want to Modify the TCM/tranny tune, select yes/ok/green checkmark.. .and then you should get into the Modify Tune menu...

and there should be a torque management menu/setting in there that you can go to and disable the torque management...

then exit back out, and install/apply the tunes...

I couldn't find the toque management option as you suggested in your above response.

So I updated the tuner, unloaded the tune, then reloaded the tune and still there is not an option for Torque Management available.

Am i missing something?
