Hello and Merry Christmas,
So I was just wondering, cause truth be told I'm a bit confused and believe I may be doing something wrong. So I installed the 87 octane tune on my 2015 Charger SXT Plus AWD a few months ago. Loved it. I do not remember when I did it, but shortly after I went in and tweaked the throttle (throttle boost) and removed the speed limiter. It ran sweet and loved the much better throttle response.
So I upgraded to a cat back system to go along with my CAI, and decided to upgrade the tune to the 91 octane one. I believe during the process it asked if I wanted to keep the parameter tweaks and I believe I selected no instead of yes. No problem except that I was not happy with the MPG loss and the throttle response seemed off. Try as I might I was not able to locate the throttle boost parameter again. So I decided to drop back down to the 87 octane tune.
Here are my issues / questions:
1- Now that I'm back on the 878 octane tune, I am not able to find or get to the throttle boost so I can adjust it. How do I get that parameter back?
2- I did find the tire size parameter, and I selected the option to use the sidewall info, but when I input my snow tire size (235/55/19) my speedo is all whacked out, as in it shows I'm going way faster. Had my son who is a local police officer clock me, it's off by at least 15 mph. What is the proper setting for these tires in the tuner?
3- How can one tell what is the current set up of the tune that is installed?
4- Does any other tune other than the 87 NOT have all of the parameters available for adjustment? In the 87 one I can adjust things like fan speed, idle RPM, etc.
5- Basically what is the proper step by step procedure to follow when installing a tune so you ensure all of your changes are taken?
Thanks in advance for your help. Looking forward to some clarification.

1. Select the tune then choose the option to modify then you'll see the params. Make your change then back up and apply the tune.Rivie wrote:Hello and Merry Christmas,

2. Are those stock sizes?
Was it actually off before you tried to change the size?
Id set it back to stock (restore quick adjust) then confirm speedo.
3. There is a menu that should LTW: (last tune written) in the tool info menu.
4. All params are available for all tunes.
5. select the tune, choose modify, make your changes then back up and select apply tune.
Thanks

Good afternoon,
Thanks for the reply. I'm back in country and will make sure I follow as you pointed out and didn't miss a step, which I'm willing to bet is what I did lol

Re: Some questions regarding tuning steps order and paramete
BTW Mike, yes that is the stock tire size. I had Fiat send me the original build sheet to verify as it seems most 2015 SXT came with either 18 inch or 20 inch tires, but the person who ordered this one selected the option of 19 x 7.5 wheels and 235/55/19 Michelin tires
