Challenger R/T Adjustments don't seem to work?

Post by Kryptex90 »

So I've had my T2 for a month or two, but have not really used it much. I tested the canned tunes and throttle adjustment, but it didn't really seem to change much at all. I figured maybe it was just me not being able to notice a difference, but after getting my cam swap and trying to adjust the idle on a custom tune (to raise it a little), it didn't seem to adjust the idle rpm at all.

Now I am wondering if my Trinity 2 just doesn't actually work. When tuning it says that it successfully tunes the car, but in my experience so far I just haven't been able to feel/see a difference. I follow all of the steps for installing the custom tune and get no error, but....yeah...please help.

Thanks

there may be changes in your custom tune that preclude your ability to adjust something like the idle speed, but things like throttle boost should still work as expected.

It seems to work, I am just an idiot. When adjusting the idle RPM I didn't see the Ac On/Off toggle on the top. When I did see it, I didn't read it as "this is your idle rpm while the ac is on/off." Once I set it up for both, it adjusted the RPM accordingly. Based off of this, I now can assume the rest of it is working as intended. Thank you for your reply!
