Used Predator Unlocked????????

I purchased a used predator(V.7r75c) from an individual that stated it was "unlocked". While he owned it it was hooked to a 2005 F250 6.0 Stroke. I have a 2006 F350 6.0 stroke. When I went to install, the message stated "Feature not support on this vehicle", call support with your calid. The calid is:
ARZ2A101
VXCF5H5.HEX
TQCKOT5.HEX.
The tune reads Factory HP

The only sticker on the back reads 2005 6.0.
My question is, can I use this flash tunner? Can it be reprogrammed, or did I buy a lemon?

Thats not good.
The message you are seeing is due to the fact that the tool has a super old revision on it, but if the backup was not restored, it is locked and needs to be returned.

From what information i gave you, is there any other test I can perform? How about down loads? I really don't know how to move forward with this.
