2007 Mustang GT

Post by br0peth »

Hey All-

New here and also new to tis product. A bit of history..

I purchased a 2007 mustang off craiglist with a diablosport t1000. Not knowing much about this I bought the car and brought it home. Being an IT geek I wanted to go ahead and update the thing and get it all functioning properly with the software but in doing so I did a few things and I have a few uestions. I hope someone can answer..

I restore the original factory tune back to the car, updated to the newest .crom file that condated the updated Ford_gas_can profile. After the upgrade I went through the process to pick my car again to set it up. No any of the profiles I picked just made the car idle horribly. I either came to the conclusion I erased a custom profile someone created for the previous owner.

Scouring the boards here I noticed people here do custom tunes? Is this a possibility? Im sure there would be logs required from the device.

Also doing this the cable was so sunbaked the Molex connector just disintegrated doing the process. THe car ran beautifully before the upgrade soagain I assume a custom config. Shame on me noob.
I got a new cable on order..should be ere next week..

THanks again to anyone that can help and/or point me in the right direction,
Dan

Got my cable. Installed the jlt 91 tune and got the stang running decent again. I'm sure it can run even better...

Got a new toy to learn.

Is it a JLT CAI?
If its a series 3 version we can provide a custom tune for it that will work better than the tune designed for the S2 in the tool.

ok, load the tune for the octane you want (91, 93, etc) with no cai option then post the last tune written file here and I will provide a new tune for the CAI.

Awesome... I'll get that done today and post it thank you

And also I assume by posting the last tune written here there's a way by pulling that file off the DiabloSport by connecting the USB to it?

Are you looking for a certain file extension? Just so I know. Thx.
