I3 unlock and/or new license???

Hello .... I have an I3 tuner that i bought for my 2014 Camaro SS. Last year I traded the car and totally forgot to set the tune back to stock. Now I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 (5.3L) and I want to use my tuner to set up the truck. Especially since i am in the process of lifting it and I'll need the speedometer adjustment. So... how do I get this unlocked? and will it work on my 2017 Silverado (5.3L)

you can buy the $149 GM license then you'll need to purchase an additional $40 GM unlock after initially connecting to the vehicle since all 17+ GMs require a specific unlock.

So, for my 2018 Corvette, I would also need the GM Unlock purchase?

yes.... any 2017 or newer vehicle needs an ECM unlock...

I3 2016 Silverado Wrecked total loss. How can I get it unlocked or do I have to get a new license? I have no way to unmarry it! I want to use it on my 14 Ram.

you would have to buy a new Dodge license for it...

I just got the DBS-8225-R for 2021 GMC Sierra. Do I need to buy the GM unlock as well even though it came with the ECM/TCM unlock cables?

Thanks. Now to figure out why it’s not updating cleans keeps saying the truck is not supported. I’m wondering if I got shipped a malfunctioning unit.

there was a bug over the weekend, fixed now. please update the device then try again

Well just tried to do an update. Had it connected to my pc. Said it was checking, and then it gets to the registration page fill it out and then it says

The user creation/access request has been canceled. Please verify and try again. If problem persist contact system admin

Would it matter if I had originally started on a pc but then after getting the registration done and attempting the first update done. Then switching to a Mac do to the pc crashing later? I would call but the truck and tuner are an hour away and by the time I am home the line is closed.
