I3

Post by NORM »

I INSTALLED MY PROGRAMMER LAST NIGHT. I DID THE 87 TUNE. THE INSTRUCTION WEREN'T VERY CLEAR. SO ANYWAY WHEN I WAS DONE MY MDS WAS STILL ON. I WENT BACK THRU THE TUNE ON MY TRUCK AND STILL COULDN'T TURN IT OFF. DO I HAVE TO DUMP THE FACTORY TUNE BACK IN THE TRUCK AND THEN START COMPLETLY OVER. I FOUND OUT LAST NIGHT THAT AFTER YOU PICK YOUR TUNE THEN GO TO ADVANCE TUNES AND PICK OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, I HOPE THAT IS CORRECT.

no need to return to stock, just select the same tune you want to modify, then select the modify parameter menu and set MDS to OFF, then back up and apply the tune.

Bets to do this through the advanced menu.
