2006 mustang gt nitrous tune clarification

I have a 2006 mustang gt auto with a CL1740 tuner. I am installing a zex kit and plan on running a 100 shot. I know I need to pull some timing I have been told about 3 degrees but the tuner seems to be in percent. how much is each percent and can i just do it in the global spark advance?

Use the global parameter, it is in degrees.
