I3 Tuner

Post by UARPerformance »

Have I3 Tuner for a 2014 Ram 5.7 Hemi. Went to install tune. It said it needed an update. I updated tool. I then hooked it to the truck. It wrote a cal file and said to reboot I believe. I let it reboot, It then let me go through the steps till its said performance trans tune, I said yes and I have said no also. It goes to perform back up. then it says Read failed. Whats the dealieo???? Thanks in advance!!! :punisher:

anytime we see a read fail on a 13/14 its generally because the pcm was previously tuned with something else that changed the bootloader and didn't put it back to stock.
Anything from an older Superchips device to HPt, SCT, etc.

Tough spot. We can generally reprogram a factory bootloader into the pcm if you want to send it in.
