Data Viewer 3.4.4.16 and 17

Post by Dragon23 »

I'm having problems loading dash boards, and saving new ones. I thought Id check to see if its my problem, or something that is being worked out since the integration of E.A.S on data logs.
Thanks

I have a fix I am testing along with the internal calibration team, if all looks good i expect it to be released today or tomorrow.

I updated to 3.4.4.21 last night and lap top data logging with selected dash boards is good again. EAS does not appear to be a option to add still, like the analog inputs were, when logging with lap top. Will this be available some time or only logging on the tool ?
Thanks

streaming still wont show the EAS but it will play back in a recorded log.
The update for streaming will be a whole new application...

So EAS will only record on the tool, which still has issues right now. that's very disappointing, I was hopping it could be on the same log as the one created on the lap top, the way all your other programmers worked with the analog signal.

I record, and when I select to save it suggests a file name, I press okay and it says a unexpected error has occurred, it says it saved the error, and the continues to try and save, and it just hangs up. I eventually power cycle it and reboot. I’ve try several ways even naming the save file my self and still get a unexpected error has occurred. If you check the posts for t2000, this problem happened after the update. Did you have a look at the last xml file I sent on my post ?

I didnt realize this was happening. Haven't seen it reported anywhere else fortunately.

Please zip up and post the runtime folder from the t2 drive so we can check this out.

If you unplug the EAS device, does it save the log properly?

Okay so I deselected all pids that use EAS and tried to record. same results, a unexpected error has occurred. Next, I opened up the dash and unplugged all sensors on EAS and I get the same error, and lastly I unplug the EAS expansion plug and the same error. Here is a updated EML and runtime zip

OK, so EAS being connected seems to have no effect on the issue?

I don't get it every thing was working and recording before I ran update agent, at that time Data viewer was the problem, and now data viewer is fine.
re read my post for Update agent, in the Trinity 2 section. Things went bad from there.
