I3 data log fails to record

i have a 09 silverado 1500 5.3 4x4 flex fuel took the tune fine but every time i try to data log i turn the key to run hit data log and wait till the record option comes up then select record and wait like instructed but it always fails and says a runtime log has been made. I made sure its up to date as of today any ideas or am i just doing it wrong

try choosing the restore default PID option and see if that resolves it.

start the truck up first... have it running... then go into the data logging...

Started it up loaded my i3 to the data log hit record after about 5-8 minutes still a failed to record and a drive log created

have you updated it to all the latest updates/fixes using the new Update Agent program installed on your Windows pc/laptop??? (do not update it using wifi)

Yeah, that's the latest version of the Update Agent program itself...

So close that... connect your inTune to your pc/laptop and get it to the main menu/screen...

Then run/launch the Update Agent program and update your inTune to all of the latest updates/fixes...

Ok plugged in updated got the current update screen went out turned key to run hit scan tool then data log let it load got to the record option started truck hit record waited about 5 minutes for it to load still getting the failed message and created a runtime file

can you post the 9 digit serial number off the device?

any aftermarket electronics or OBDII stuff wired into the vehicle?

Yeah it’s 201950772 and nothing wired in other than a aftermarket head unit

Glad I just saw this again. I think I found it. Do you have a replacement fuel pump module or something in the vehicle?
I have seen these dorman cals cause problems like this in the past:

I had the fuel pump module replaced awhile back I can see if it’s a dorman is there anyway to datalog with it or would I need to replace it with a delco?

I dont think its anything you need to address, more so something we need to look into or sort out.
