I want to update to the latest crom file. However when I try to restore my factory tune to my 2006 300c my predator says factory tune could not be restored. Please help. I tried this several times, with the same results. The latest I have version on my predator is 9r01 and I would like to update my predator to 9r04 since I just installed an air hammer cai.

Have you been to the dealer since last time you tuned the car?

Well, that may be something we need to figure out.
If they updated the PCM while it was there, we need to know.

Thanks

Have you went to the dealer to see if they updated your PCM when you had the tire problem? Especially if you had them change the rim out and they needed to recognize the TPM Sensor. I know when I went to my dealer to have them put my tires on they were inches away from hooking that little dreaded scan tool they had to my car(thank god for windows to the service bay), the tech told me he wanted to see if I was running the latest updates to make it run better. I told him not to worry, I know it is running Great! Diablo will help once you find this out.

Go to options/show last tune written in your Predator.
You will see a calid there after it tells you what tune it was. Write this number down.
Then plug the tool into the car, and go options/troubleshooting/show calid.
Write down the calid.
If the calid read out of the car is different than the calid listed under last tune written, the PCM has been reflashed.

Did this already on the phone with you guys... its the same number

by the way the car has not been at the dealer since the last and only tune.
The predetor won't even let me put another tune in no matter which tune I choose.

yeah, but you most likely didn't talk to mike on the phone... therefore, he wouldn't know what that is... not everyone who answers the phone for support is on here in the forums too...

Well, if the numbers are the same, we'll have to look into this a bit, as this is the first time I have seen such an issue.

I'll need to discuss it with one of our engineers but he is out today, so I will get an answer tomorrow.

Thanks

At any time did you add any electronics to the car?
Alarm maybe, remote start, anything like that?
