2019 PCM in a 2016

I have a T2 with an unlocked PCM in my 2019 Scat Pack. Will the PCM work in a 2016 Scat Pack? I saw in another post it will need to be reVINed.

16 wont work in a 19....cant say for sure other way but I doubt it.
