Predator tuner tire sizes

Hey, kind of stumped. These old units you were able to do tire sizes by the number of revs per mile, which was great for my 02 stang using 245/40r18's nitto's... that was 10 years ago. However the predator 2 unit I just purchased does tire sizes in inches. I'm running the same tires on my 2011 as I did on the 2003. 245/40r18's....that measure 26" , however the predator 2 on allows 28-31" Is there a way around this?
