Yes, as you must restore the backup to the car before updating which will clear the tunes.
They can be reloaded after the update though, assuming you have them saved to a PC.

Well that creates a problem as I have been unable to download anything but the stock tune, are there any help files or instructions on how to download them ?? I see a problem with downloading the tunes is addressed in the update I wish to do.

Where did the custom tunes come from?
Your tuner should be able to email them to you if need be.

Should not need to update the Predator assuming the tunes are good.

Well its more about having a unit that works correctly, at present it has a problem downloading the latest tune file which means the unit is broken. Look at it this way, you buy a new car with remote door locks, they don't work but you can still unlock with the key, wouldn't you want it fixed?

I think an improvement is needed in the software for downloading the tunes, I have the option of downloading the last written or the stock tune, there are two other tunes in there as well, maybe something menu driven that allows you to chose the tune to download by name. Right now it wont download the last tune written, or at least it doesnt appear to download correctly compared to the stock tune download.

I'll wait till Mike at Dez Racing replies, He's a Great tuner and I'm sure he will e-mail me the tune.

Dont get me wrong, I love my Predator and will never go back to the SCT X3, talk about problems, and no where near as easy to use.

Thanks

Craig
