I have a trinity t2 and it wont complete the install and get an error about failure to read the factory data.
Also it won't connect to a laptop. I've tried 3 different laptops and 3 different cables including a brand new data cable
Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Trinity t2 won't complete tuning
I got it used. 2014 ram 2500 gas hemi 6.4
I was originally able to install a tune after it asked for a calibration update. I then uninstalled the tune and tried installing a tune with my old t1000 and that failed so i decided to just stick with the t2 and reinstall the tune again, but this time it failed.
I'm wondering if it corrupted the pcm by using the t1000?
Is it possible to just force a calibration update or is it something else.
The t2 connects via wifi but not usb cable.
Thank you.

Re: Trinity t2 won't complete tuning
hmm, 14 ram. The t1000 was probably not the best idea. The 13/14 ram has a bootloader that has to be swapped prior to tuning. if you left the swapped bootloader in the pcm then tried to tune with the t2, its likely confused about the nonstock bootloader.

I suspect that's what happened... will a forced calibration fix that or what are my options.
Thank you

Re: Trinity t2 won't complete tuning
no, sending the pcm here is the only solution to correcting the bootloader situation if thats what is happening.

Thanks. Do I just contact tech support then? Any chance i can try forcing calibration just to see if its something else going on? Really appreciate the help.

yes,give tech a call.
cal update has no impact on the bootloader, it will not help.
