Alright, 05 Magnum R T. Stock 5.7 nag 5 speed automatic. Changed the rear differential from 2.82 to the GETRAG 3.06. my mechanic works at a Chrysler dealership. Cannot get the TCM to accept the change. Bought the Diablo Predator 2. Still cannot get it to accept the change. Trans goes to limp mode. Nothing was wrong with the car to start with. Help

Well, if the factory tools wont work, and our tool doesnt work, it may point to the car itself. I assume it still has the stock/original EGS52 TCM?

The car is stock . No issues with the car for the last 10.000 miles. Just a gear change.

The only code it shows is P0700, 731,732

I have checked connections on trans and TCM , removed and reconnected. Everything looks good, all wiring looks good, I double checked ratio of differential to be sure it is the 3.07. Where do I look next.

It's a 3.06 that's the problem. No program for it. How cool would it be if this would have worked.

so what is the exact problem? the device does not present a 3.06 option? Is there anything close?
Or it lets you pick 3.06 but fails to make the change?

The device does not offer the 3.06 it offers a 3.07. and that doesn't work

I have tried adjusting tire size in 1/2 inch increments. Thinking I might find a happy spot but no love. Thanks

OK, what exactly happens when you pick 3.07? That should work perfectly fine in reality.

As soon as the vehicle reaches about 10 mph. Trans goes limp mode code p0731

After initial setup I have full control of the transmission with the paddle shifter until approx 10 mph

is the behavior the same when gear ratio is returned to stock value?
Also, when you go into the menu after programming it for 3.07, does it show 3.07 highlighted with * on the screen?

Yes a stock value it does the same. And it says gear is modified when installed. Speedo adjusted.
