Bug with U1794 and LS3 MN6 and questions about the tune

Post by BoostFrenzy »

If you go into the "tune" menu even just to browse your parameters it makes the fuel level sender stop working when you restart the car, you have to either write another tune to reset the ecu or remove the ecu fuse / negative battery terminal to correct it

also, why is it so lean? mine runs 12.9:1 to ~4200 then it seems ok ~12.6:1 to redline from there, timing seems pretty flat ~20* everywhere then tries for 25 by redline?

Sounds Like your low RPM range WOT AFR is is a little lean. That can be dialed back. There are two rpm ranges for power enrichment during WOT. Looks like your low rpm is a little lean. 12.6 is on the mark.

I'm going to have to go against the grain on this one and say that the LS engines in particular run the best with that AFR spread. Technically 13.0 is not neccesarily all that lean for an efficient Naturally aspirated engine like the LS7.
