what is the best fans settings

can any body tell me what is the best fans settings for my ls1 GTO i'm living in texas and its so hot ??

Do you have the stock thermostat?

no i have 160 stat my fans programed to start at 201 and stop at 190 but its never goes down further than 192 when the car is stopped in traffic jam and the fans will keep working and killing my battery and my alternator

Lower the on and off temps by about 20* then reinstall the tune.

do you mean i should lower it 20 F degrees ? for on to be 181 and off to be 170 ??
