"U7185 Update" Sticky Notice is confusing

Somebody in Tech support should update the "Sticky" telling everyone to update their U7185 to the next version so that is is clearer as to who needs to update.

I have a U7185 v2.02 that I bought in 2005 and was recently sent an email from Diablo telling me to update to the newest " R " version. I was getting ready to do it but decided to do some research first, and only then did I learn that the older Predators with version 2.02 are not included in this upgrade. I'm glad I took the extra time to check on my own, but others might not be so lucky.

Updating the wording on the Sticky and in the U7185 Web Support Page would help to clarify this for everyone.

agreed. I bought all the componenets necessary to hook it up to my computer to update and now have to return them.

i guess im now in the same boat. i just bought everythng and was having trouble getting my predator to connect so i came here.

i have a u7185 bios-6.01 version 2.02 so are you saying this up date is not for me?

Correct, the updates are only good for new production tools that came with the 9rXX revisions on them.
