Update Agent not finding device

The car: 2009 Dodge Challanger SRT 8 6.1 The tuner: Predator v.9r17 U7135 The issue: When we connect to the vehicle to apply the tune it says that it needs an update. Installed Update Agent 1.0. The device is connected to the computer and we can see it's connected in Device manager, but the program still says "Connect Device Please plug your device into your PC to check for Updates" We could use any help to get us connected and updated, thanks.

You don't have the new Predator 2 tool... You have an ollllllld discontinued U7135 predator... those were discontinued at least 12+ years ago, if not more... the new Update Agent isn't going to work on that old predator... those tools haven't been supported in a looooong time....

Whelp, that is disappointing, are there any trade-in/upgrade offers available to get to a new/newer device?
