Trouble in Paradise with v9r07

All I have in the Diablo Tunes menu now are the
93 tune
93 CAI tune
91 tune
91 CAI tune
no options to "modify original tune" or go back to "stock" .
The tool does the backup, but I have to go to the Troubleshooting menu to restore from original.
Doing backups has always been on the Troubleshooting menu, but I could always get to "modify original tune" or go back to "stock" on the Diablo Tunes menu.
Something is broken!!!
Yes, I did let the tool do it's own backup and that doesn't help.
No, I have never had this trouble after two previous calid updates through Diablo.
No, I just didn't get the tool. I have had it since it first came out for the Hemi, so I'm not a novice making a novice mistake.

Give me a few minutes and I'll try it again. Just yesterday I updated to 9r07, got the original backup from the car, downloaded my cmr tune to the predator, applied that to the car and then I did a Restore Original Backup. It was in the Performance Tunes section just like it always has been. It's the last one down just off the screen... let me go check that again.

Sort of. One guy reloaded the CROM and it fixed it. Another guy reloaded the CROM and he got Modify Stock Tune but was still missing Original Backup. A third guy reloaded the CROM and it didn't make a difference... odd. Almost sounds like those menu selections are at the very end of the file and it gets chopped off. I'd try downloading the CROM from the website again and try reloading it on the Predator again.
This is what properties showed for the CROM on my PC
size: 942 KB (965,080 bytes)
Size on disk: 944 KB (966,656 bytes)

On my PC for CROM v9r07
Size: 942 KB (965,080 bytes)
Size on disk: 944 KB (966,656 bytes)
Identical stats as the CROM file on your PC.

So maybe it has to do with getting it on the Predator? What version did you have previously? and what version of the DSDownloader are you using? just grasping at straws here

Previous CROM version was v9r05. Had zero problems.
Using the latest version of the DSDownLoader. I always use the latest version of the DSDownLoader.
Thanks for trying. But, for me the tool is broken. Well, on the plus side, the car still starts up and runs.

i think i know what it might be.
If you do not take a backup you will not see it as you do not have it yet.

NEED THESE OPTIONS DS! Warranty issues and mine is~was going back to the dealer this week!!!!
Started with CROM 9r04 on an 06 RT (350/400 option, full load, RWD, Mopar OEM CAI, DS) and have also lost the options.
I insured I had latest DS ver. and CROM - which I do. I first updated calibration then loaded the new CROM to the DSP-u7135.
I went out to car it loaded new calibration and I noticed a menu change during calibration update that added a wave type graphic behind progress indicator that I've never seen, about 35% of the background speckled from right to left fading. (Wave may not be the best way to describe it the background graphic but new all he same)
We are missing menu options in Performance Tune - "Modify Stock Tune" & "Original Backup" as I'm sure you're reading. I haven't even driven it yet, will take another car because if I've lost my stock tune things won't be happy here.
I read the posts and DS replies on LX foums, thanks, good to know there will be a new CROM coming out by Monday night~
All we can do is wait for DS tech in the AM to reply. I think that in this case those of us effected should all be beta testers for their new Trinity live model. I wouldn't have a problem as long as I could get a copy of a stock tune matching my VIN... I think this thread will grow so be sure to ship those or BO them for us now.
Awaiting solution so I can restore original tune to get it to the dealership....

Do you mean a "Force" in the options to load menu on the tool? Lost me...

backup ,i mean go to car load a can tune but when it saids saving a backup let it finish the back up and un plug the tuner from car then go to your pc and save the backup on the dsloader
when you pick a tune it will automatically save a backup to you predator but dont install the tune just unplug it from car you now have a backup on the predator
peace hope it helps

Again, not sure why this is happening, but as has been stated many times, go to options/troubleshooting/restore backup and it is all good.
Thanks

You guys are looking for the original backup and modify the factory tune after the predator has taken a backup right, if you do before it will not be there.
