Man that sucks how diablo aint looking after there customers any better than that. Im in the same boat though except my truck works on 9r08. Seeing i now have options for better tunes now but im stuck at 9r08. Looks like they would knock off 200 bucks a trinty or something!!!

ok... i installed original backup back to truck. it wrote fine. thats all good. pred was unlocked.
so i tried uploading that new 9r18c crom and yep.... i get the incompatible hardware after the ds downloader finished uploading crom. so thats great.

nothing else that can be done or is this it ...

i have latest ds downloader installed and tried updating tool.

1. it says that i have to upload original tune back to truck to reset pred.... well it didnt write nothing to the vehicle. it just read the original copy and saved then it was finished and to call diablosport with the file. which i did ...

i plugged my pred into the truck today and it seemed to read data just fine so it could log if i wanted to. i still dont understand why my pred wont work with my cal ids and just the 2010 support in. if not i guess ill have to move on to something else.

i see that the gmc 2010 6.2l is support by the u7194 so it should be good for the chev 6.2l right?

also i have a old version of the u8000 and i wont beable to update to 9r17 revision. so can i just send my cal id in to get it to work with this pred? or custom tune will do?

GM, I BELIEVE ITS A 4L60E TO BE EXACT

get a transgo 4l60e-hd2 shift kit with vette servo and sonnax 4th gear servo and then take out transmission adjustments in the pred then you have a tranny that shifts like its suppose to. crisp and quick at part throttle... but at wot its firm and fast.

you know i was thinking today about this tcm issue. if a person could pickup a used superchips flashpac unit and install it first and get your tranny setup feel the way you like it.... then use the pred and tune the engine side of things. i would think it would use the superchips tune as the ...

its your 7194. its old and doesnt have enough memory for the big crom file. mine did the exact same thing. old ass pred is the problem. i emailed tech support and they gave me v9r10 which worked. nothing above v9r06 needs to be updated. just calids added i believe for more support.
