DS guys (johan)
thanks for the smoothed MDS which I've now tried.
It comes out of MDS completely smoothly (imperceptible almost).
I didn't expect it, however, to also run smoother in MDS mode so that's a wee bonus. I thought at first the MDS wasn't in !
Well done.

Re: MDS Smoothed - TCM mention.
If Johan is bored then I bet there is a lot of TCM support piling up..
Now TCM support is another matter. It's a pity Chrysler won't work with DS on this because there's scope for improvement on the DS product and I believe they're having difficulty getting into the TCM programming.

RE: Same as above
I must admit that when I downloaded mine I was asked some difficult questions - about original backups and TCM files. I had unloaded the Predator from the car before downloading my new file, so I showed it a copy of my car's backup which I had previously saved. I told it I had no TCM file to offer ...

RE: 91 CAI tune to be updated for MDS smoothing
Can I jump on the MDS smoothing bandwagon as well please.
Like the others I find the MDS 4 - 8 transition surges embarrassingly and the passengers pass comments.
I also note, however, and like, that I get up to 26% throttle on the Perf 91 against 22% on standard tune before MDS comes off.

U7135 Autostick Upshift - undesirable effect
I found Mode 1 and Mode 2 to both work on my 5.7 300C.
I liked the flat refusal to change down on acceleration, and I enjoyed turning MDS on and off by nudging the lever to the right repeatedly (D - 5 - D - 5 etc) as I cruised along.
But I did not like the refusal to change up at the high rpm.

RE: Setting up data log groups.
Thanks. I think the answer to Mr electricmarquis is in your last reply - basically the Predator can't do it but the Trinity can, and a laptop connected for live streaming can also do it.
My Dad came round with his laptop last night and we did live streaming but I forgot to try different dashboards ...

RE: Setting up data log groups.
What we're wanting to do is set up the Predator for logging certain PIDs before we put it in the vehicle.
And we want to choose a different set of PIDs to be recorded each day.
I understand from your replies that we should record all the PIDs every trip and then use the Dashboards to filter out the ...

RE: Setting up data log groups.
Sorry about that, I'm like a computer - you have to punch information into me.
My Dad's coming round tonight - he's got a laptop - so so I hope we'll be able to load up all the PIDs over from the car to a new dashboard on the laptop via the Predator and then copy it from his laptop onto my desktop ...

RE: Setting up data log groups.
I agree - we want to plug the Predator into my PC and transfer the list of parameters I want to watch /record so that I don't have to sit like a prat in the car for five minutes shuffling through the menu lists.
