That's correct it works for older cars but with the OBD-II tests you can't do the old battery trick any more.

Okay, it might take me a few days since I had an issue with my Predator, that I've since sorted out, so I'm waiting for the shop to resend me my custom tune. But I will post both when I have them.

I haven't done the specific cycle per the Ford instructions but I figure over a year and a half of all types of driving it would have been covered by now.

No other codes at all...that's with about @ 6000+ miles and spirited driving on the rebuilt motor.

Nevermind, just for others information, I was able to obtain the previous revision but the Predator was unable to be revised to the older crom...didn't matter though because I was able to restore my factory tune on my car with tech supports help anyway.

Well I feel dumb, after the fact I read that you need to restore the original backup tune on your car before you update your Predators firmware.

For my U7146 (converted from U7000) I think I need to revert it back to 9r07b (original) from ...
