Well from reading about this on here it seems that there really isn't an "unsafe" place to put the TM and shift firmness at. It's just a preference of how hard you want it to shift correct?

No, at least not as it comes. I don't think you can upgrade it to read from a wb or not. But I would say just get yourself a wb kit.

Using my u7146 w/98 gt auto
Well I got my u7146 used off a board and now would like to start messing around with it a little. I have used other more in depth tuners in the past (like DHP powertuner), but I had knock sensors and a wide band to help with tuning. Since I have a PI swapped mustang my compression ratio is about 10 ...

u7146 canned tune and PI swapped 98 gt
I'm pretty sure on this, but want to confirm first. Can I use the stock 93 octane tune on my PI head swapped 98 gt? I'm thinking no since I have a bump in compression now because of the headswap (~10.4:1) compared to the regular 96-98's. Thanks
