Sorry you lost me again. Is global timing not simply the reference point from which the timing curves start?

Are you saying remove 2-3 degrees of timing when towing the boat and running the premium tune?

I think I'm with you. The voltage signal from the MAF idicates a specific volume as it relates to the stock intake/induction system so a change to the intake system could generate the same voltage signal even though the air volume is increased.Increasing this increases the fuel delivery to match it ...

Thanks for your response but I still don't completly understand. If the MAF sensor is measuring the volume of air going into the engine, doesn't it already acount for the increased air flow? Sorry for the continued questions, and thanks for your help.

MAF parameter

Could you explain the MAF adjustment. The MAF sensor measures the volume of air going into the engine so what is the need of the adjustable perameter and what does it change? Does it change the air/fuel ratio?
