Plug wires?

Sorry to put this here, but there's probably others wondering...

'03 5.3 Silverado. Soon to be 6PSIG supercharged. I put in TR6 plugs gapped at .040" and I put in MSD 8.5mm sparkplug wires. My Q is are the wires an actual benefit? I had Accel wires on my '94 Vette and it made it run like crap when I'd spray the 125 HP shot of Zex N2O anything above 4K RPM. I put AC Delco wires back in the Vette and she went like a bat outta hell.

I use the MSDs on my LS1, and I love them.
They are the only wire I recommend using on these vehicles.

PS, you may consider lowering that gap to .035....
