tow/haul button and the 40HP Towing tune

Post by rchouser »

This may be too generic for the Diesel Forum, but, here goes. I have an F350 6.0 PSD 4X4 2006 AUTO-TRANS. Any problems with "stacking" the 40HP Towing Tune on top of pressing the TOW/HAUL button on the Transmission Shift arm? I asked the dealer about what the tow haul did and was told that the button ups the transmission shift pressures and shift points in the transmission to support towing and hauling. They became real vague after that. (either they thought it was too hard for me to understand, or they didn't know themselves) Do the Predator tunes affect the transmission shifting points as well? I don't want to accidentally "Stack" two functions that may produce a third (ugly) outcome. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance. RC

Using the tow haul setting is fine with the tunes.
