New Ford 6.4L CALID not recognized

Been loving my Trinity, until my truck had to go in for recall service and they flashed it. Now the Trinity does not recognize the new CALID's...

Vehicle: 2008 F350 6.4L

Here are the CALIDs

Unit1: 8U7A-14C204-CG

Unit2: 7U7A-14C337-AB

Can I get an update that includes these?

I am just waiting on Mike W to get me a template, i already have the cal id off ford's website. Hopefully shouldn't be TOO much longer. The templates take awhile to make b/c they are massive (like 9,000 + parameters)

I saw that 1r05 was up this morning. Downloaded it and installed to the trinity.
It now recognizes my truck, but when I go to load a tune it tells me
that this CALID only supports custom tuning?

Chris, when you say it now recognizes the truck, what is different than before with the last revision?

Does it give you the option to install the modified stock tune?

The 1r04 version was working until the dealer flashed the truck as part of warranty work. After I got the truck back the Trinity told me the CALID was not supported and to contact support. You guys said the new CALID would be supported in the next update. I loaded up 1r05 and put the trinity back in the truck. Now when I go to performance to load a tune, before I get to the tune selection screen I get a message that says "This CALID only supports custom tuning, please load a custom tune" and then it returns me to the main menu.

OK, that was a mixup on our end, we are still actively working on adding support for your truck.

Nothing new on this, going on 3 weeks of having nothing more than an expensive gauge viewer... not what I payed for...

they have to decode the new ford template. When ford reflahsed your truck, they moved all of the parameters around to different parts of the computer so diablo has to relocate them and build a new template. As mike said, this involves over 9,000 parameters. That is a lot of work and takes time and care.

After that is done, then Don can work on the tuning and testing part to make sure the tunes work as well or better than they did for the older software trucks. You should kindly tell your dealer next time to stop flashing your truck without prior approval.

Thanks for the explanation. As you can see above I have asked for an ETA or more information about what was going on with this or when it might be expected, and have had no reply for over 2 weeks. Just the information you supplied would have been helpful, since it was stated it was going to be in the latest revision and then it was only half way there. Then no more info than, "we are actively working on adding support". I would assume that most people purchasing this product that see it supports 2008-2009 6.4L Ford would assume that it supports them all since there is no mention of only certain CAL ID, if the information had been available that the Trinity did not yet support the latest computer, I would have asked the dealer not to re-flash it, or waited to have the warranty work done, but I could not find any information on which specific CAL ID's are supported, is that available anywhere? All I could find is that it supports 2008-2009 Ford 6.4L. Since it seems that Diablo was aware there was a new update out, and tey did not yet support it, it might be useful for them to supply that information somewhere on the site, so that us Trinity owners ca be aware of it...

the problem for you is that there are dozens of calid's out there and there are no markings on the truck for you to correspond with the dealer or know before installation attempt if it is supported.
