editing software
what software do i use to edit/create a tune??
RE: editing software
you can't... unless you're a dealer and have the commercial CMR software... HOWEVER, they are currently working on an end-user version of their CMR software (just like tranny support for the U7191
), but until that is released, you cannot edit/create tunes - you can only make adjustments via the Predator handheld unit...

RE: editing software
Where can I find "detailed" instructions for adjusting parameters? 05 Avalanche with GM performance exhaust andK&N drop in. I have installed the Performance tune. Now I have to figure out how to fine tune it to get the most out of it. I still need to drive it for a while so I can get a good feel for how it is performing. There are a lot of parameters that can be adjusted and I have no clue what most of them are.
The tune has helped eliminate the drone from the exhaust. The shift from 1-2 is a little rough and there is still some lag in 2nd. Need to kicks down quicker. The AV does responde much better at highway speeds.
I have no idea how this translates to adjusting the parameters.
Any suggestions or any custome tunes?
The manual does not provide much info and neither does this site.
I am in the Austin TX area if anyone can help?

RE: editing software
Well after the running the new exhaust and the performance tune for a few months, I haver a bad drone at 2000rpms. It happens with slow acceleration at slow speeds in 2nd and drive. If I kick it down from second to first and accelerate hard there is very little drone. Is there anything I can do? It seems like, if the truck held each gear alittle longer, it would pass the drone at the 1900-2100 rpm mark. Is there a custom tune that may help? or am I just SOL. I could always put my stock exhaust system back on but I do not want to lose the performance.
