2004 Dodge 2500 cummins Turbo Boost pressure (gauges)

Post by banshee30 »

I just want to be safe, when in the monitoring menus and watching my boost pressure when i get on it the gauge reads up to 47psi of boost is this corect? all i have is a k@n air filter and mangnaflow exhaust on the truck. seems high or is the trinity reading it corectly. i still have it on the stock setting after changing back from performance setting.

The next revision will have a simulated Boost pid, that will not read 14psi at idle.

Ideally, you can subtract atmospheric pressure from that boost reading (47psi-14.7psi) to get the actual boost, which is likely about 32-33 psi.

Thanks, I updated mine on the 8th and the new one came out on the 9th :punisher: The boost gauge update works great, takes a minute to find it, it's boost delta.

I did have minor issue though, installed the new update and ran the truck but had a couple lights stay on for a little bit after installing. Airbag, brake and abs stayed on for the first trip and then I shut it off and let it sit for a few and the brake and abs light stayed on when I started it but after I put it in gear they went out and haven't come back on since, only drove it twice. Might just be me and I only have it on the tow mode but the new update seems to make more power and smoke, weird.

Also, on the 03's and early 04's you only see about 20-22 psi of boost, 04.5 and up you guys get the 30psi+ stock.

Can't wait for my exhaust and egt kit to get here so I can try out the 100hp tune :D

The ABS lights and what not will come on after the flash, and will go out after a bit of driving, it is totally normal.
