r17 update for U7165?

I have update r10 in my truck right now. I guess I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to update to r17? Did you change the transmission shifting in r17? Ever since I updated to r10 I have been dissappointed with the sluggish shifting under hard acceleration.

Yes 17 has better shifting.

I had r14.crom and upgraded to r17.crom on friday (7-27) and the improvements in transmission and engine response are nice! I have not had a reflash ever from dealer so I am running one of the older flashes that has the injector cycling before AND after engine run.
