Accuracy
How accurate is the Trinitys acceleration numbers? Trying to figure out about what my truck runs. Ran it last night in the 1/8 (because she'l hit nearly 120 in the 1/4 and I wanna keep my license), and it seems quicker then it should be. Ran a [email protected], which equates to about an 11.8 1/4. I'm having a hard time believing that I'm driving an 11 second Jeep.

RE: Accuracy
Since it doesn't measure true distance traveled only tire rotation, if you have any tire slipage, it still counts it. So you could just do a long smokey burn out and get a really good 1/4 time but only really travel ~50yards.
In my SRT-4, I hit a 4.0s 0-60 while spinning through 2nd gear.

RE: Accuracy
I'm not really all that worried about the wheelspin issue, as I have AWD. Its just that fact that getting 5,000lbs to 60 in 3.5 seconds and through an eighth in 7.6 seems like it would go against physics. Thats a helluva lot of mass to move.
RE: Accuracy
The point is there's plenty of sources for errors in the Trinty's ET clock/odometer.

agree with the comment above. it should only be used to compare your car before and after a mod

RE: Accuracy
Well, when we tested it at the track, it was within .2 all night on the 300SRT8 with wheelspin, and within a few hundredths on our duramax...so, it is consistent.
