"c" version
I tried the "a" version and it did well. Got about 1 MPG better when driving in the city. I went ahead and upleveled to the "c" version and have a short trip planned this weekend.
RE: "c" version
Good deal, yeah the tunes have not changed between the a and the c version so that should remain the same.

RE: "c" version
Does the 9r21c support the 05187899AF calid in 09 Challenger R/T 6 speed? I've been waiting awhile.

I took my car out of storage, took my Predator out of the closet, downloaded the 9r21c program and was looking forward to finally being able to tune my Challenger R/T as promised. WRONG! It still does not support 05187899AF. I understand why you spend your time making it compatible with the 2010's. That's where you're going to make your money. It's good business sense. BUT, how about some support for those of us that have already purchased the Predator, and can't use it. I don't know why this calid seems to be such a problem. I don't want to revisit letting it "downgrade" my cars program. I've been all through that on other pages on this web site. I just want to know if DS is aware of this problem, and if they have any intentions of correcting it? Can you please reply.

Last update. I did it. I don't know how, but I did it. I did a calibration update from the downloader. I then let it upgrade my vehicle, and then it installed the 21c program. I have no idea what calid my "original" is. I guess I'll find out when I restore it to bring it in for service. I took a short test drive and it seems to be a real boost, even from the original installed before the dealer flash. Tomorrow I'll take it for a real test, but I think I'm going to be happy!
No, you won't. The calids are stock versions of your PCM flash. When the Predator changes your calid it is flashing the PCM with a stock image (same as one you would get at the dealer). That's the image that then gets backed up as your Original Backup. The CROM versions on the Predator have tunes for and can work with a particular calid or set of calids. When the Predator tells you that you need a calid update that means it has detected a calid that it doesn't support (newer or older, usually older). When you do a calid update it gets the stock flash of the correct calid and flashes the car with that. Once you have a compatible calid on the car it's just like starting with the Predator straight out of the box the first time. (pretty sure that's how it works).danpotestio wrote:I have no idea what calid my "original" is. I guess I'll find out when I restore it to bring it in for service.

I gave it a shot right after I left out of dealership in Vero Beach FL. They replaced my Grounds on chassis and battery. Way to small. Surprized I had not noticed. After I left there I pulled into parking lot and tried to load your beta tune provided here. Give me back my R18. This thing ( U7135-9t21b ) would not load tune. It would store my tune, no problem. It would get right to upload of new tune and hang on the hour glass. No movement of sand in hour glass. I waited 15 min one time like that. I finaly rebooted several times no good. I rebooted and reinstalled stock tune, drove home. Not Good. Something is a miss with this tune file. At dealer they did flash PCM, I asked what they did. 1 was something to do with keyless key bob I have and the other was some miner upgrade to seat pressure sensors for air bag deployment. I stood at bay and watched them do intire job. Chatted with mechanic after to see exsactly why they flashed system. I dont think that is the issue. Got warning ticket on the way home by a unmarked Blue 2010 Mustang County Cop too. I pulled into traffic to merge and let er rip right next to this guy. My Bad. Guess he is upset they only got him the GT. Could not tell till lights came on way behind me. Whats up with this beta tune fellows.

Ok , should have read prior post I suppose, C version is out already. Is that to correct not able to load tune issues I had?
